Managing Director Scott Davis, established IBS Decor in 1996 after realizing that many event management and production companies lacked the support and reliability they required to bring their designs to life. IBS Decor currently employs in excess of 50 full and part-time staff and is far more than a set and stage rental company. We make concerted efforts to be the best in our field of operation. We provide a unique one-stop support solution that has led us to form exclusive partnership agreements with some of the industry’s most respected suppliers from around the world. We continue to search for new and exciting products together with working methods that will either compliment or improve our existing customer services. Over time we have amassed an enviable client list that includes both local and international companies, many of which are based in USA, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. IBS Decor has gained a reputation for reliability coupled with high standard finishes. IBS pioneered the supply, to the UAE, of products that conform to the rigid European Fire Safety Standards.

Building on the proven success of IBS Decor, and as part of our continuing expansion, IBS Flightcase division was opened in March 2003. From beginning as a small operation in part of our Al Quoz workshop, IBS Flightcases has today established itself as the region’s premier, bespoke, custom-built case design / manufacturer. Exclusive agreements exist with many leading, Industry professionals for the Middle East region. The operation is now based in the Dubai Investments Park and we have invested significantly to enable us to provide a fully equipped, purpose- built Flight & Equipment Case manufacturing facility. Having over twenty-five years of expertise and knowledge of the flightcase industry, Managing Partner Martin Cockton heads the company and is largely responsible for its present success. In January 2004 IBS Decor, (in association with S+H Technical Support Ltd. UK), introduced starcloths and other lighting effects from the S+H range to the UAE and Middle East

These products complimented our already rapidly expanding services and by holding what was undoubtedly the largest hire stock of starcloth and Black Serge drapes (BWS) in the region, this part of the business made a significant impact on both the quality and fire safety standards of the region. Today we stock many different fabrics and rental drapes which are of course all fire retardant to stringent European standards

During the summer of 2006, following a complete review of client service and product requirements, the individual strengths of both IBS Decor and S+H Technical Support Dubai were combined to form one stronger and more vigorous company.

On November 1st 2006 IBS Decor LLC was restructured and welcomed 3 new partners. Mr Alan Scoley, Mr Terry Murtha and Mr Nigel Smith. The wealth of knowledge and experience each individual brings to the company provides an opportunity for future growth and long term development, this will ensure that IBS Decor remains at the forefront of the Middle East Events Industry for many years to come.
